MG TIRE UPDATE FOR 2013
MG Tire Update!
Larry Robb generously donated his (rounded up!) profits of $2000.00 to the club for the 2012 season sales. Please thank Larry in person and by pre-ordering your tires for the 2013 Season. You can contact Larry via the E-mail below.
Larry's shop is in Ontario so there will be no tax and NO extra freight on the purchase. You most likely won't find them cheaper. Thanks Larry, good price on tires and proceeds going right back to our track...that's awesome!
MG is the only 2013 Club tire (besides kid kart and Rotax) this year to fall in line with Region 6 Gold cup
and in keeping with the spirit of competition!
The prices are as follows
Set of 4 4.50 REDS ( JR1) $205.00
Set of 2 4.50 and 2 6.50 REDS (Jr2 and all senior 4 cycle) $210.00
Set of 2 4.50 and 2 7.10 YELLOWS (shifter/rotax/tag/2stroke, note: rotax series rules are Mojo, can run either at SRK) $220.00
Kid kart is open tire rule.

Meeting April 2nd at Casa Mexico on Fairview Boise
It's been a long month and we've got many projects coming down the pipe. My apologies for not sending out additional info. We've had the cruds hit my household. Here's a few things up and coming.
Practice Schedule Posted.
Please see the schedule tab and click on "practice sessions" to see the details. If you are interested in officiating practices please let me know. We will not be handing out packets this year and need to schedule practices. Plenty of dates open. Please read the guidelines and follow the directions.
Rules and Schedule
The 2013 schedule and points will be up to date and Straitened out soon. I do know it's goofed and I'm having issues with that section of the web site. All of the dates as of now are good thru July, not much has changed with the rules, but most important are the tires are only MG with the exception of Rotax. Please call or email if you have any questions. Stay tuned.
Memberships
Please remember to download the 2013 membership application from snakeriverkarters.com and get it sent in as soon as possible. Our ultimate goal is to receive your membership before the end of February so that we can make it one step closer to our goal of paving. We have a multi-year membership available to boost funds. See the link below!
Tires (updated 3-15)
Kid karts will be exempt from tire rules and will have an open tire policy. Rotax karts can run Mojo or MG tires if you desire to be in keeping with the Rotax series which runs Mojo. If you are planning on running the Rotax series, Mojo will be the way to go.
Please remember to order your tires as soon as possible. MG will be the club rule tire for the 2013 season. Details on the snakeriverkarters.com web site front page. Keep in mind, proceeds were donated to YOUR club from last years sales. You don’t have to buy them from Larry Robb, but he made a rather generous donation of $2000.00 to the club for our paving project taking zero profit from the sales. Please support yourself by supporting the club!
2013 Club membership application now available.
Multi year memberships also available!
This year in an effort to raise funds to complete our track re-pave we are asking that memberships be sent in as soon as possible with a requested deadline of Feb 28th. We have also added a section for multi year memberships to boost the income. We hope to have plans in place to pave as early as possible to allow for the Season opening. You will also need copies of birth certificate

CALLING ALL KID KARTS
All points bulletin for kid karts....our first race was a great turn out for all classes but kid karts. Our single kid kart looked as if he had a great time, but would have loved some friends to race with.
As kids advance to older age groups the class they moved up from sometimes thins out a bit. As a non-profit racing club it can be a challenge to keep an eye on the future of each racing class. I ask that all club members help to keep our club membership strong, healthy and fun! Actively promoting membership is as easy as just getting the word out and or looking to fill an empty seat with local racers if at all possible instead of just posting and selling out of town.
If you have a kid kart and a driver, we would love to see you out at the track. If you've had a racer move up and still have that kart. Help out the club and do some recruiting. We all know every kid that hits the track in a kid kart is sure to have some fun. It's a benefit to the club and we all love to have more racers to run with!
If you need assistance getting started, mechanical issues or if you have any issues at all that are keeping you off the track, let a club official know and we'll see what we can do to help.
Thanks for reading!
